Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting a royal baby in the United States.
Meghan Markle gave birth to her second baby at Santa Barba Cottage Hospital, about 150 km from Los Angeles. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the birth publicly on their Archell Foundation website. This birth is an event for several reasons. This is notably the first baby heir to the crown not born in London and therefore expected to have dual nationality.
Princess Diana is commemorated with this name.
Archie’s little sister will be named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. This is a nice way to pay tribute to Lady Di, Harry’s mother, but not only. “Lili is nicknamed after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, who goes by the moniker Lilibet in the family, according to the parents. Diana was selected as her middle name in honor of her late grandmother, Princess of Wales.
